Giveaway: Go Offgrid

What do adventurers, trail runners and bike-a-holics wear on their days off? I reckon the wonderfully soft organic cotton tees and sweatshirts from Offgrid is a pretty safe bet.

Wear your passion on your chest on the days you can't be outdoors living the dream. With designs featuring mountains, trails, bike gear and escapes from the city, you'll never be too far from adventure. I found it hard to choose a favourite but having spent time in the Alps over the summer, I'm starting to miss the mountains, so the Star Trails design was the obvious choice.

When the neatly wrapped parcel arrived, I could tell it was from someone who understands my active lifestyle and really loves the outdoors. Besides the camping and bike stickers and my new super comfy tee, the package included a smoothie recipe and a map for their favourite trail run.

  1. We *all* need to go off grid a bit more :) It's only a small thing but I want to take a whole day where I don't go online, and instead take my mum out for an autumn picnic. We've got so much lovely forest nearby and the colours are fantastic. Flasks of hot tea or soup at the ready and maybe a hip flask with something a little stronger ;) Oh and pumpkin picking, because she really wants to do that.

  2. I want to go offgrid by getting muddy. I want to have a go at trail running, not something I've tried before, except running around as a child @drgwen23

  3. Post-road marathon on Sunday, I'm going to focus on my XC running, which is taking me outside London to trails I've never explored. I've also just signed up to be a volunteer at the Trailscape running series to see what they have to offer and hope to meet some other runners looking to go "off grid" :)

  4. I LOVE the offgrid tees so fingers crossed! I'm going to go offgrid more often just on little walks by myself. I want to do more hiking too, and get in some early morning winter hill runs.

  5. I've been off grid once this month, circumnavigating the Isle of Wight - but looking to go dark a few more times in the beautiful Brecons!

  7. I go off-grid quite often on microadventures (overnight trips up hills with nothing more than a sleeping bag and stove) without my phone. No Facebook or Twitter, no pictures for Instagram, just me and the stars. One of my favourite off-grid events though is the seasonal Cotswold Way run. I leave all technology at home and get the bus 15 miles away to Painswick then run home along the Cotswold Way. Do it every few months to enjoy the outdoors in the changing seasons. Just need a bit more rain and a few more leaves to fall and it will be time for my Autumn trip! :)

  8. I'm off to Tenerife next week and I can't wait to just leave my phone at home, put on my trainers and get exploring. @poweredbypb

  9. Having quit my job a few weeks ago, I've already been offgrid for a month in Canada (kayaking, whale watching, trail running, ice hockey watching...) and am now spending my days exploring London and beyond as I build up my running distances for even better adventures :) @kt_liz

  12. Thank you everyone for such great stories of adventure! In the end, I couldn't choose, so I left it in the hands of the random number generating gods, who have picked the 6th person to comment as the winner! Congratulations Rachael!
